Our collaborative project is working towards a sustainable, fair supply of flour that better nourishes people and planet.

My Emissions
Business Partner
My Emissions calculate the carbon footprint of food products and meals. My Emissions are sustainability specialists, helping food providers to calculate, reduce, and communicate the carbon footprint of their food.

Anna Nicholson
Recipe developer
Meet our recipe developer and photographer, Anna Nicholson! Anna is currently studying MA Anthropology of Food at SOAS University of London, after previously completing her undergrad at Aberdeen. She worked as a baker for two years and is passionate about how to make food more accessible, fair and ethical.

Ana Vich Cólogan
Graphic designer
Ana is a graphic design student in her final year at the University of Dundee. She grew up in the Canary Islands and developed a very strong link to nature (especially to the ocean!). Ana and Karly both designed the Planetary Heal Meal Plan recipe book and other beautiful graphics in the project.
She’s passionate about sustainability and very excited to be part of projects that have a positive impact on the environment!

Tina Grant
Dundee student lead
Tina is a junior doctor and graduate from Dundee Medical School with a passion for global health on a local level. She is interested in the social, political, and environmental factors influencing human health. She believes we cannot have good health without protecting our beautiful planet.
​
Outside of medicine, Tina is a keen runner, cyclist, charity shopper, and is also currently learning Arabic.

Karly Yu
Graphic designer
Karly studies graphic design at the University of Dundee and is doing her final year this year. Growing up in Hong Kong has made her a food lover of various cuisines! Ana and Karly both designed the Planetary Heal Meal Plan recipe book and other beautiful graphics in the project.
Apart from just enjoying food, she enjoys being part of this project to live a more sustainable life and to help make a positive impact on the environment.

Maarja-Liis Ferry
Dundee student co-lead
Maarja-Liis is a junior doctor and recent graduate of Dundee Medical School. She is passionate about global health and how community action can lead to better health outcomes for all. She believes climate health, physical health and mental health and inextricably linked. In her spare time, Maarja-Liis enjoys surfing, exploring the Scottish outdoors and experimenting in the kitchen.

Julian Mashingaidze
Edinburgh student lead
Julian comes all the way from Zimbabwe in Southern Africa. He is currently studying a BSc in Global Agriculture and Food Security at the University of Edinburgh. Having a key interest in the relationship that food, the environment and the economy have is a key reason for his involvement in this project. Nutrition Revolution offers a way to optimise all three of these things.

Rebecca Grant
Edinburgh student co-lead
Rebecca is a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh whose research explores the risks and opportunities associated with solar energy in Rwanda. She is passionate about planetary health, and the connections between our food, energy and health systems both here in Scotland and in Rwanda.

Lucie de Seguins Pazzis
Edinburgh operations manager
Coming from France, Lucie is studying Environmental Sciences with Management at the University of Edinburgh. She is part of the Food Security and Sustainability society committee.
Convinced that working towards food security is one of the major keys to save us from climate change, she joined the project as operations manager.
Ros Craddock
Social media coordinator
Ros is a University of Edinburgh student studying BSc Agricultural Science specialising in animal science. Growing up within her family run restaurant, she is a real foodie with a passion for sustainable eating, supporting local and reducing food waste.
Ros has worked from milking cows to serving the food as a supervisor in a hotel restaurant (often all at the same time), and has a desire to educate and inform others of the importance of conscious food choices. This is why she is part of Nutrition Revolution
DUNDEE UNIVERSITY GLOBAL MEDICS
Dundee Student Organisation
Based on the NHS Tayside Global Citizenship movement, Dundee University Global Medics we are working with Dundee University medical students to pursue International research/volunteering opportunities and educate future doctors about global health concerns.
